The Lilac City Rollergirls are the first and only flat track roller derby league in Spokane, WA. The organization began in 2006 with a small group of women that wanted to make a difference through a sport that any woman could participate in. We are currently in our fourth season.
The LCRG is a skater owned and operated non-profit organization. We currently have three home teams: Pretty Deadly, SheWolves, and the Toothless Annies. We also have two travel teams combining skater from all thre teams: The Allstars and Jr Allstars.
During our second season, we finally began getting our feet wet battling other Northwest Flat Track Roller Derby leagues and getting help from the Rat City Rollergirls and their officials.
The LCRG have given a helping hand to the community by holding fundraisers, making donations, and offering their time to The Humane Society, MDA, Spokane Cancer Patient Care, The APPLE Program, Help Tequila Fund, Shriners Hospital, and most recently Healing Hearts Northwest/UJAMA.
Our goal is to maintain this league and the standards we have set for future roller girls, from junior's to adults. The youngest members of our league are the Atomic Pixies (the Jr derby). We will continue to foster friendships, good sportswomanship, composure in victory and defeat, and most of all, we want to have FUN!
